18 of feb - a day to remember.

We took the train to the city of London, 10 a'clock in the morning. We had to walk for awhile in the cold weather to come to the Globe. Neither rain or wind, but it was cold! Once at the Globe, which is the place where Shakespear created Theater, we had a tour around the place. The guide told us lots of fascinating things like the actors just used the daylight to be seen and they used no scenary at all; just there voices - words.

After the tour we had lunch and 2 h of free time so we had a look at the market. It was so big. But I still love Vikens much more. I'm glad I'm home before October. Ha ha.

Anyway, we went back to The Globe and we wad a workshop. It was fun. Our guide/workshopteacher was really good. Btw, I forgot to say that all of this was about King Lear. It was very hard to understand the script but we had to pretend that we understod it, and act like we knew what the men used for voice, ton, moves...and so on.

"Be an actor!" he said.

Difficult.

After The Globe Miss Halse, Hanna, Pontus and I went to Tate Modern. A museum of art. I bought 2 wonderful books about drawing. We took a cup of coffee on the highest floor, and it was a lovely view over the London Bridge from there.

We took the tube to Oxford street to meet up with the other ones. We ate a sandwich and then we went to see We Will Rock You. I really liked it. Not really the plot but the music. Dad, you should have been there with me. I was thinking about our Friday nights with loud rock music in the whole house on Tradgardsbrinken. You're the beast dad!

On the train back home it was a fight so John and I went further back to the other ones. When we got off the train someone punched Fredrik in his face. We still don't know why. We called the police and when everything was under control we went home. In Johns car we listen to Swedish because he is trying to learn. Maggie, Linh and I had so fun about it. Think about hearing "Valen simmar I havet" when you are tired, it has been a long day and you don't hear Swedish so often. So fun!

It was a day to remember!
